It turns out that you have to consistently implement healthy eating habits to maintain weight loss. Who knew?
You know, of course, and so do I. But it also turns out that knowing something and putting it into practice are two very different things. I stopped practicing. I gained weight. So now it’s time to get real. Again.
A couple of years ago I had the amazing opportunity to try the Jenny Craig weight loss program. Longtime East Tucson Macaroni Kid readers may remember my Jenny Craig chronicles: For several months I documented my weight-loss journey, muffin-top and all. I admit it was hard to put myself out there in front of thousands of readers and social media followers. But being successful with the Jenny Craig program? That part was easy. I felt satisfied by the tasty food, supported by my consultant, and endlessly motivated by losing pounds and inches*.
