The Idyllwild Arts Summer Program offers unique summer arts camp opportunities for adults, teens, and children. From high school intensive workshops, to kids overnight art camps, to adult workshops and programs, there is an amazing experience for everyone to develop and grow as an authentic artist. There is something for everyone here to build skills, hone a craft, and get detailed technical instruction and personal attention to individual artistic needs.

Youth PLAYers- A great beginning class. Age: Students entering grades 1st - 3rd in the 25/26 school year, June 2nd - 6th, Time: 8:00am - 3:00pm,
Price: $300/week
Youth All Stars- For Students ready for a bit more commitment. Age: Students entering grades 4th - 8th in the 25/26 school year, Price: $300 for each week, June 2nd - 6th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm & July 21st - 25th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Price: $300/week
Tween Players Camp (2 weeks), Age: Students entering grades 6th - 8th in the 25/26 school year, June 9th - 22nd (no camp Saturday, June 14 or Sunday, June 15), Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Price: $595 for two weeks
Theatre for All Camp- A camp for all levels that focuses on discovering singing, dancing, and acting. Age: Students entering grades 4th - 10th in the 25/26 school year, Price: $300/week
This camp is offered four different weeks in the summer
June 9th - 13th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
June 16th - 20th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
June 23rd - 27th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
July 21st - 25th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Broadway Bound Mini Players Camp- Age: Students entering grades 3rd - 5th in the 25/26 school year, Price: $325/week, June 23rd -27th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm & July 7th - 11th, Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Jr Players (2 weeks)- Age: Students entering grades 7th - 12th in the 25/26 school year, June 30th - July 13th, (no camp Friday, July 4, Saturday, July 5 or Sunday, July 6), Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Price: $595 for two weeks
Camps are offered in two, one week camps, Open to boys and girls ages 6-12, Camps run Monday-Friday all day- 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Drop off as early as 8:30am, Price: $350/week

Improv’s not just for the adults anymore! Now teens can share the joys of making stuff up in a one-day improv camp. Open to students in grades 9-12, students will explore the basic elements of improv that are covered in our Improv Basics class for adults. These core elements include: agreement, listening, team work, and making honest and organic choices. We will then progress to the introduction of various improv games and scene work that encourages values such as building trust, improving communication skills, character development, and the selflessness of making your scene partner look good. Presented in a safe and encouraging environment, surrounded by experienced, patient, and FUNNY instructors, your kids will have the chance to bring out their inner goofball. Plus, it’s going to be So. Much. Fun! There will be an evening Showcase where family and friends can see what we’ve learned. Schedule June 29th from Noon – 4pm: Workshop. Learn and practice improv fundamentals 4 – 5pm: Rehearsal. Prepare for the Showcase 5 – 6pm: Dinner break. Dinner will be provided. 6pm: SHOWCASE! Show off what we’ve learned to friends and family!

Camps are week long Monday- Friday running for eight weeks, Camps will run June 2 - August 1. Price: Members $275/week, Non-members $300/week, Aftercare $40 Drop off: 8:00am - 8:30am, Morning Session: 8:30am - 11:30am, Afternoon Session: 12:00pm - 3:00pm, Aftercare Available 3:00pm - 5:00pm Students should be picked up by 3:00 unless enrolled in aftercare.
