Halloween is finally here!

Although it may look a little different, there is still plenty of Halloween fun happening in and around Tucson. There are drive-thru trunk or treats, open-air haunts, and virtual events that will have your family howling with Halloween happiness! 

Be sure to check with the venue before heading out to make sure there haven't been any changes. Also, don't forget to visit nwtucson.macaronikid.com for even more Halloween events in Northwest Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley!

Halloween Events Throughout October


Costumes and Critters at Reid Park Zoo: Walk through merry and not too scary scenes and photo sets like Skeletown and Pumpkin Pallooza. Masks required for everyone over the age of 5. 
October 22-31, 9 AM-4 PM. Advanced ticketing required. Included with Zoo admission. 

HalloWEEn at the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures: Come see the Museum decorated in spooky, kooky Halloween style. 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, Wednesdays-Sundays through Nov. 1. Advance reservations required. Included with Museum admission.

Halloween at Trail Dust Town: Haunted train ride, spooky food and drink offerings, carousel and ferris wheel opened. 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, Fridays-Sundays in October. 

πŸŽƒMidtown Haunted Mercantile and Ghostly Garden: Get scared by the best at the Annual Halloween Haunting! Thursday-Monday, 10 AM-6 PM through October 31.  

Slaughterhouse TucsonThis frightening attraction has been modified for safety for the 2020 season, and is open Thursdays-Sundays, October 1-November 1. Timed ticketing from 7-10 PM. Advanced registration highly recommended. 

The Curse of Captain Cutthroat at Traildust Town: With cannons and swordfights, Sam and Latch will need to put their wits together (what they can spare) to defeat the undead pirate! 7:00 and 8:00 PM, Fridays-Sundays through Oct. 31 at Trail Dust Town. $10 per person.

Terror in the Corn: Buckelew Farms has moved to a new location with more scares, new attractions, food & beverages, carnival games, pumpkins to purchase and more! Weekends starting October 2 throughout the month. 6 PM-Midnight. 

Valley of the Moon Haunted Ruins 2020: Moonlight Walkabout through the Enchanted Storybook Land:  There will be will treats, fun surprises and the joy of discovery.  It's been scary enough this year, so Valley of the Moon is focusing on uplifting visitors this Halloween season. October 16-18 and 23-25. Tickets required. One ticket covers a group of up to 10 people.

Halloween Kids Night Out at Color Me Mine: Pizza, painting and fun for ages 6 and up. Park Place Mall. Friday, October 16, 5:00 PM-7:00 PM

Terror at the Drive In-A Family Friendly Halloween Magic Show: Join illusionist Michael Howell and guests ranging from singers and dancers to ghouls and zombies at this outdoor show. Park Place Mall. Friday, October 16, 6:30 PM.

Week of October 19-25


BTBASZ Trunk or Treat Classic Car Show: Trunk or Treat and Classic car show supporting Southern Arizona Law Enforcement. Please wear your masks and practice social distancing. Friday, October 23, 6:00-9:00 PM. $5. Register HERE.

Costumes and Critters at Reid Park Zoo, extended hours: Enjoy colorful lighted paths and displays at the Zoo. October 23-25, 5:30-8:30 PM. $10.50/adults, $6.50 children.

Halloween Howl at Colossal Cave Mountain ParkHaunted Cave Tours through Colossal Cave, in the DARK! Visit the spirits from Colossal Cave's past. October 23-24, 30-31. Tours start after 5 PM. $20 adults, $10 kids. Children must be 5 or older to participate. 

πŸ•ΈοΈShocktober's Virtual Haunted House: Gather safely with your friends and throw a Shock party! Watch on the edge of your seat as you walk through the truly haunted home of Shocktober. This truly terrifying virtual shock includes all four live streams (2 hours each) + the bonus ghost hunt episode for a deal so good - you could just die. This is a PG-13 event, too scary for young children. Streaming October 23 & 24 at 6 PM. 

Halloween Festival at Funtasticks: Vendors, free face painting, pumpkin-painting, music, giveaways, and more! Wear your mask and come out for some Halloween fun. Saturday, October 24, 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. 

πŸŽƒ Rollin' Haunt: This drive-thru event from Tucson Parks & Rec will feature contact-free treat bags and a car photo opp (so bring your car in costume, too). Saturday, October 24, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM (or until supplies run out). 

πŸŽƒSpooky Kids Halloween on 4th Avenue: Trick or Treats along Historic Fourth Avenue with a DJ and candy hosted by the Fourth Avenue Merchants. Sunday, October 25, 4:30-7:30 PM.

Creatures of the Jungle Halloween Party at Wild KatzKids can do a craft, play at game stations, enjoy witches brew at The Fountain, and experience 90-minutes of play in the Playground. Friday, October 30, 6:00-8:00 PM.
