Description

Take an in-depth look at the types of jobs and skills the men and women had in the 18th and 19th centuries. Also included will the arts and crafts of New Spain and Mexico during those time periods.


Demonstrations include:

*The Virgin de Guadalupe and Mexico lecture at 10:45 am and 11:15 am

*Handmade tortillas

*The art of alebrijes - a temporary exhibit in the south exhibit room

*The life of a Presidio soldier

*The territorial homemaker and the hazards of the 1800s home

*Colcha embroidery


Admission Prices:

($3 Discount for Pima County Residents, Seniors 65+ and Members of the Military with ID)


Adult Ticket - $9

Child Ticket - $6 (Children ages 6-14)

Children 5 and under and Presidio Museum Members - Free
