Description
Improv’s not just for the adults anymore! Now teens can share the joys of making stuff up in a one-day improv camp. Open to students in grades 9-12, students will explore the basic elements of improv covered in our Improv Basics class for adults. These core elements include: agreement, listening, teamwork, and making honest and organic choices. We’ll start by introducing various improv games, exercises, and scene work that encourages values such as building trust, improving communication skills, character development, and the selflessness of making your scene partner look good. Presented in a safe and encouraging environment, surrounded by experienced, patient, and FUNNY instructors, your kids can bring out their inner goofball. Plus, it’s going to be So. Much. Fun! There will be an evening Showcase where family and friends can see what we’ve learned.
