Description
Experience the inspiring effects of nature as you hike, mountain bike or horseback ride along this spectacular piece of the Arizona National Scenic Trail. This casual outing offers incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges, as well as Davidson Canyon and Cienega Creek Nature Preserve. Hike or bike for a few hours, then meet back at the trailhead for refreshments. This is an ideal outing for families.
The trailhead features a beautiful memorial to Gabe Zimmerman, who was killed during the Tucson tragedy, as well as a contemplation area that everyone should experience. It is a testament to the strength of community and the healing power of nature.

The trailhead is southeast of Tucson on Marsh Station Road. Take I-10 east and take Exit 279 (Wentworth Road/Colossal Cave Road). Turn east (left) for 0.2 mile to Frontage Road. Turn south (right) on Frontage Road for 5.2 miles to Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead.
