Description
Join us for our Grand Opening event of the Midtown Farm! We will be having a short presentation, music with DJ Turtle Kutz, kid games and activities, jumping castle, a petting zoo, and farm tour!
Julia Keen Elementary has been closed since 2004. The school was a vital piece of the community for many years. It provided two meals a day for our kids, youth sports, holiday parties, employment, and so much more. Flowers & Bullets collective is leasing the property and creating a new urban farm and community space. Learn about Flowers & Bullets, and see what we are doing with Keen Elementary now, and how you can get involved.
Food and drinks will be free and served starting at 9:30am.
