Are you looking for a school that meets your child’s individual needs plus has a focus on both social and academic excellence? You found us!

We invite you to check out Highland Free School and find out what makes us unique! Our hands-on, integrated thematic units provide our students with a deeper and connected understanding of the topic. We pride ourselves on our project-based learning and STEAM focus. These meaningful experiences engage and excite our students while helping strengthen essential 21st century skills (such as critical thinking, perseverance, and collaboration). Our goal is to keep inquisitiveness alive!

Academics, kindness, and creativity are all important to us, which is why we also focus on supporting the whole child. Highland’s multi-age classrooms and low student-teacher ratios allow for a more well-rounded, personalized experience that supports both cognitive and social-emotional growth. Each child can celebrate their uniqueness and creativity through our hands-on projects and during explorations in art, music, and technology (including VR and programming).
