Personal Review: Everly absolutely LOVED this book! Sometimes when reading books, she get distracted or wants to start the book over halfway through. The simplicity of the book hold her attention and she looks forward to getting to the end, trying to find Little Yellow Duck.
Activity: The activity for this book is just as simple as the book! We took a few rubber ducks and hid them throughout the house. I would take my turn hiding and Everly seeking. Then Everly would hide them for me to find. I love this because it encourages Everly to use her imagination when hiding the ducks. It also helps build her problem solving skills by searching for them. If I can incorporate any learning into an activity, it makes it that much more rewarding- for the both of us!
