These days one of the safest, most comfortable ways to spend time out of the house is in the great outdoors. America's National Parks and Monuments are a perfect destination for family fun and education. And there are several ways for your family to experience these national treasures for FREE!
Do you have a child in 4th grade this school year?
Your whole family can benefit from the Every Kid Outdoors initiative, which allows 4th graders and their families to discover National Parks for free for an entire year (September 2020-August 2021).
Do you have a 5th grader in the 2020-2021 school year?
Because of closures and travel restrictions last spring and summer, many 4th graders missed out on their chance to use their free Every Kid Outdoors passes last year. Those now-5th-graders have the opportunity to get a voucher for free access to national parks and other federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior from October 28, 2020 through August 31, 2021.
