With Kellogg’s Feeding Reading program, 1 box = 1 book!

By Kindle Rising, East Tucson Macaroni Kid Publisher September 2, 2020

I have been compensated for this promotion. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My daughter is a ravenous reader. Since we've been at home the past several months, she has finished nearly every book in our house; some more than once. Her 5th-grade teachers have included plenty of time for silent reading during the remote school day, which is great. However, it also presents a challenge. How do I keep her stocked with fresh, new books for her school (and personal) reading time, especially now that she doesn’t have access to a classroom library?

Imagine my delight when I learned that new books are just a breakfast away! With the Kellogg’s Feeding Reading program - you can redeem up to 10 free books by purchasing participating Kellogg’s products, including Pop-Tarts now - September 30, 2020. We purchase Kellogg’s products all the time. Now we can stock up on books for this remote learning semester just by buying some of our favorites!

I went right out and found Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts, one of my daughter’s favorite treats for breakfast (or anytime, really). She munched on Pop-Tarts while I created an account on the Feeding Reading website and uploaded a photo of my receipt. My daughter and I went through the list of all the great books that are offered through this program. There are more than 125 titles, from picture books for the youngest book lovers, to fun middle-grade graphic novels, to Young Adult novels for tweens and teens.

My book-loving tween chose a YA (young adult) book from the latter section, and I anticipate she will devour this book quickly, as she tends to do. Now that I know Kellogg’s is dedicated to Feeding Reading, I’ll be purchasing another box of Pop-Tarts (or other great participating Kellogg's products) to pick out another book very soon!

Even if you don't need new children's books in your house, you can easily donate books to local schools and libraries directly through the Feeding Reading website. This is a great program for teachers, too! Whether teachers are looking to build their classroom libraries for virtual read alouds or for when the kids get back to the classroom, they can take advantage of Feeding Reading for up to 10 free grade-appropriate books.

Fueling your child's body AND mind is as easy as redeeming receipts for Kellogg’s products that you already buy. Just look for participating Kellogg’s products, upload a picture of your receipt, and pick a book. Feeding Reading is just a breakfast away!

Send each receipt separately. Receipts must be submitted within 30 days of purchase and no later than 10/30/20. Book credits must be redeemed by 12/1/20 at 11:59 PM (EST). Limit 10 books per participant. Must be a U.S. resident, 16 years of age or older, and a registered member of Kellogg’s Family Rewards®. See FeedingReading.com for full list of participating products.
