Much is uncertain right now, but there are some things we know for sure, like the fact that elementary school teachers and staff work incredibly hard for our kids. In fact, even though students aren't in actual classrooms, teachers and staff are working harder than ever, even as they are dealing with the effects of the current situation in their own families and lives.
So... YES! We are still having our Gold Daisy School contest, and it's time to VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE local elementary school. The winning school will win a pizza party for staff from Mama's Famous Pizza and Heros and $100 donation from Lucky Cat Social Art (at this time we don't know when we'll be able to celebrate with the winning school, but we WILL celebrate!).
The top 10 schools below were nominated by the East Tucson Macaroni Kid community, and now it's up to YOU to get your school to the top. Let your parent/teacher organization officers know your school was nominated so that they can share the news with other parents. Vote daily and share widely through April 20, 2020. Your favorite school just might win the 2020 East Tucson Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Award!

What is a Gold Daisy School Appreciation Award?
