Scholarships available for Kids' Classes at Tucson Clay Co-Op

March 6, 2020

Tucson Clay Co-op is now offering need-based scholarships to children and teens interested in learning more about the art and craft of pottery.

Scholarships are available for Tucson Clay Co-op's Thursday youth classes that introduce wheel, hand building and sculpture to kids and teens:

  • Saturdays 8:00-9:45 class for kids ages 6-12 (8 weeks)
  • Thursdays 4:00-5:45 class for teens 13-18 (8 weeks)

The scholarship covers the cost of tuition and materials (normally $95) for these 8-week classes. The scholarship application is simple, and any youth is eligible to apply if they or their family can attest to personal financial need. Selection is first come, first served.

Email tucsonclaycoop@yahoo.com for instructions on how to apply for the scholarship. Please spread the word to parents for whom tuition would otherwise be a prohibitive financial strain.

Visit www.tucsonclayco-op.com for more information about Tucson Clay Co-op's classes, camps, and workshops for children and adults.
