Library Night Out: Free Screening of PBS Kids Series Molly of Denali

June 13, 2019

Books, food, culture, and fun! You can have it all at Library Night Out at Old Pascua, a new monthly series at the Richey Resource Center.

This free, family-friendly event will feature a special premiere screening of the new PBS Kids program Molly of Denali, which won’t be released nationally until mid-July. The show is the first children’s series in the U.S. to feature a Native American lead character.

Molly of Denali is set in Alaska, and follows 10-year-old Molly Mabaray, her dog Suki, and her friends Tooey and Trini on their daily adventures—from fishing and building snow forts, to delivering a camera to friends on a volcano via a dog sled. The show is produced by Atomic Cartoons Inc. and WGBH Kids for PBS Kids and CBC Television.

In addition to this special screening, we hope you’ll enjoy these other fun happenings!
