Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Throughout my Jenny Craig journey, I’ve been thrilled at the number of people who have told me they’ve been inspired to try this weight loss program after following my experience. No one’s decision to join Jenny Craig thrilled (or flattered!) me more, though, than my mom’s. Like me, my mom has tried various weight loss plans over the years, sometimes successfully, other times not so much. Proud of her daughter’s success with Jenny Craig, and spurred on by an upcoming trip to Mexico, my mom decided to take the plunge and join Jenny Craig’s Rapid Results Program. I asked her about her experience so far.
Why did you decide to join Jenny Craig?
Because of you! You’ve done so well with it, I thought I’d give it a try.
Tell me about the Rapid Results program.
I like it. The menu on the Rapid Results plan seems about the same as what you are doing on the classic plan, but the timing is different. I eat everything on a 12-hour cycle, and I’m not supposed to eat after 7 PM. I really think that’s important.
What is your favorite thing about Jenny Craig?
also really easy. I like that you don’t have to think about it.
Ok, now for the big question. You’ve been on the Jenny Craig Rapid Results program for 5 weeks. How much weight have you lost?
14 pounds in 5 weeks! Put that in your article!*
Wow! That’s amazing. Together we’ve lost over 40 pounds* with Jenny Craig! Do you have any advice for people who might be on the fence about becoming Jenny Craig members?
I’d recommend signing up for 6 weeks of the Rapid Results program. Once you start losing, you’ll be motivated to stay on the plan and want to continue. I’m signing up for another 6 weeks!
It has been such fun sharing this experience with my mom for the past several weeks. I'm so proud of her for making this commitment to herself, and I know that she's equally proud of me. We're both still working toward our goal weights, and I think we can do it...cheering each other on the whole way!
