The goal of Discover the Dinosaurs is to create a fun environment of learning and discovery as children and families explore the pre-historic past. The exhibit consists of 8-10 scenes representing dinosaurs from specific time periods. The scenes include sights, sounds, and even motions that transport you back to the time of the dinosaurs. There are also several non-moving dinosaurs that you can reach out and touch!
Included in the general exhibit admission price are a scavenger hunt (and prizes), a dino coloring station, Dino Dig and a “Dino Den” for toddlers, designed with whimsical, colorful dinosaurs that little ones can sit on and touch. There are also additional activities available that require separate tickets, such as Mini-Golf, Gem and Fossil Mining and Dinosaur Rides.
