Fun craft for a real Macaroni Kid winter!

December 30, 2010

As I work on this article it could possibly snow in Tucson.  So, this snowflake craft will either be in celebration of or instead of some actual snowflakes. Either way, it's a cute, fun project to keep the young ones busy during these last days of winter break!

Materials
-Various dried pastas
-Wax paper
-Glue
-Toothpick

-glitter, paint, any other embellishment you'd like.
-Ribbon or string

Instructions
-Working on waxed paper, arrange dried pastas into different geometric patterns
-Use a toothpick dipped in glue to stick the pieces together. Let the glue dry completely.

-Decorate with paint, glitter, or other embellishments.
-Peel away the waxed paper and hang your snowflakes with ribbon or string.
