Are you looking for a new, safe, active interest for your children (or yourself)? Academy of Ballet in Tucson offers affordable classical ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary dance with classes for ages 3 to adult.
Academy of Ballet has been in Southern Arizona since it was founded in 1981 and is the home of A Southwest Nutcracker. Over the years, hundreds of children and teens have been enrolled at the studio and acquired dancing and life skills. No matter what the individual goal, kids enjoy the expression of self through movement and dance while making friends.

Children ages 3+, teens, and adults can take beginning to advanced level classes in ballet, jazz, tap, or contemporary dance. Academy of Ballet is well known for its quality instruction. After training at the Academy of Ballet, many alumni have continued dancing at universities and with dance companies. With age and skill development, dancers may be invited to join the Tucson Regional Ballet Company.

In the current COVID-19 environment, Academy of Ballet has adapted the studio to offer best practices with sanitation, hygiene, and class size per recommended CDC guidelines. Academy of Ballet also boasts low student to teacher ratios. Classes are offered in-person and over Zoom. A free trial dance class is a great way to come check out the studio and instructors.
