Did you know that on average, babies cut their first tooth somewhere between 4 & 7 months? My older daughter chose to be dentally precocious and met this milestone at 3 months. Three months! I was shocked to feel the little nub emerge in her lower gums, but relieved to understand why she’d had a particularly fussy couple of weeks. However, I also realized that this meant a long haul with the teething process for us, and I set out to find out ways to soothe her sore little mouth.
