Cool Off at One of these Tucson Splash Pads

FREE (or low cost) water fun in Tucson!

It's warming up out there!  Cool off at one of Tucson's FREE (and low cost) Splash Pads.

City of Tucson Splash Pads
 
  • Catalina Park Splash Pad:  Located in the West Unversity area, at 900 N. 4th Avenue.  There is also a new covered playground and walkways at Catalina Park. 7 a.m-dusk.  FREE.
  • Marty Birdman Center/Balboa Heights Splash Pad: 2536 N. Castro Avenue. 7 a.m.-dusk.  FREE.
  • Kenya Get Wet at Reid Park Zoo:  Zoo admission is $9 for adults and $5 for children, but the splash park inside the zoo is free with paid admission, and always free for zoo members!  Available during zoo hours.
Pima County Splash Pads 
  • Brandi Fenton Splash Pad (opened April 18): 3482 E. River Road, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. FREE.
  • Picture Rocks Splash Pad & Pool (Opening Memorial Weekend, 2015):  5615 N. Sanders Road.  $1 entry fee for children, $3 for adults.
Other local splash pads of note:
  • Ott YMCA Splash Pad:  401 S. Prudence, this splash pad was new in 2013. Free for members or can be enjoyed as part of a $10 day pass. Click HERE for times.  
  • Jewish Community Center Splash Pad:  3800 E. River Road.  The splash pad is part of the JCC aquatic area, including a full sized pool and a tot pool. Members are free, or a day pass can be purchased for $10.  Click HERE for more information.  
  • Oro Valley Aquatic Center: 23 W. Calle Concordia, Oro Valley. This facility includes pools, a water slide and splash pad. Regular rates are $5 for children 5-14 and $7 for adults. Children 3 and under are free. Click HERE for more information.
