What You'll Find in This Week's Edition of East Tucson Macaroni Kid

September 25, 2014
Welcome to East Tucson Macaroni Kid!  If you live in East or Central Tucson and are looking for ideas to educate, entertain and exhaust your kids, you have come to the right place. I'm a Tucson mom myself, and since I already spend so much time looking for enriching things for my family to do, I am thrilled to share what I discover with YOU!

What can you find in this week's newsletter (September 26-Oct. 2)?

  • Macaroni Kid's Do Something Great Day on September 20th was a BIG success! Next week I will share more about what we did and the money that was earned to support some great causes.  But for now, we have ONE MORE Do Something Great event!  Join us on September 28 for a fun, family-friendly walkathon at McCormick Park to benefit the Avielle Foundation.  This is an important national foundation with a moving local connection.  Read more about the event HERE.
  • Fall Break? Already?  What are your kiddos doing?  This is a perfect time to check out a Playformance camp!  Flexible schedule (one day or multiple days, pre-care and aftercare), reasonably priced, and LOTS of fun.  Learn more HERE.
  • Looking for ways to encourage healthy activities for your children?  Come out to the FREE Family Engagement Day event on Saturday, September 27 for fun activities, food, demos and lots more.  Brought to you by Shape Up US and the AZ Department of Education.
  • GIVEAWAY!  Who wants to enter to win tickets to see Disney on Ice presents Let's Celebrate? At the TCC October 9-12th.  Enter to win tickets HERE.
  • There is much more in this week's publication!  Scroll past the event listings for the full Macaroni experience.  And don't forget to check out our birthday guide and calendar of events!
Enjoy your week! If you have any questions or comments about East Tucson Macaroni Kid, please do not hesitate to email me, Kindle Rising, at kindler@macaronikid.com.
