This week, we're CELEBRATING! East Tucson Macaroni Kid has reached several milestones this summer, all thanks to YOU! Our most recent milestone was reaching 2000 facebook likes. As a thank you, I've partnered with some wonderful local businesses to bring you Christmas in July! So, find a comfy spot to sit back and enter one (or all) of our SEVEN giveaways this week. Then for more winter-themed fun, check out our "Frozen" inspired activities and our "Dirty Snow" recipe. Doesn't just THINKING about winter make you feel cooler (ok, no...I know, it's 106 out there...but we can pretend).

- Back to school is right around the corner! I've put together a list of back-to-school events to help you and your children get ready for the 2014-2015 school year.
- And what about extra curricular activities? Do you have a young dancer? Learn about Ballet Arts, the dance school affiliated with Ballet Tucson. They offer many types of dance classes for ages 3+, and they have a 20% off deal right now for new students!
- The big news around downtown this week? The grand opening of the Sun Link Streetcar! Even if that's not your neck of the woods, why not take advantage of FREE rides all weekend long and check out some of the celebrations, discounts and sights in the downtown/University neighborhoods?
