In fact, I'd like to encourage ALL of us to break out of our ruts, try something new, and share our discoveries with others in the East Tucson Mac Kid Community. This year, my family vows to try one new event/place/activity per month in Tucson (and Southern Arizona). I will write an article about our activities to share in the newsletter, and I will also post photos to Instagram (follow me at @MacKidEastTucson) with the hashtag #MKTucsonFirsts. - Stroll through Winterhaven or Zoo Lights during the holiday season
- Check out Colossal Cave
- Visit Trail Dust Town
- Take a hike on a trail you've never been on
- Check out a new-to-you storytime at a library, bookstore or toy store.
- See a children's production at Live Theatre Workshop
- Do a family art event at Creative Juice
- Visit the Tucson Botanical Gardens or Tohono Chul
- Check out a local park that you've always meant to stop at
- Go to the Gadsden-Pacific Toy Train Museum Open House one Sunday
- Check out the East Tucson Macaroni Kid calendar or Macaroni Today App for even MORE ideas, every day!
