About Macaroni Kid East Tucson Edition
East Tucson Macaroni Kid is a weekly newsletter and website edited and published by Kindle Rising, an Arizona native with Tucson in the blood. Although she lived in other parts of Arizona as a child, Kindle grew up visiting relatives in Tucson and moved here herself when she attended U of A for graduate school.
Although she felt like she knew Tucson pretty well, when Kindle had her first daughter six years ago, she found she had to learn a whole different side to the city. Although there are plenty of things for children to do in Tucson, there is always a bit of a challenge actually finding those things...especially during the summer! Kindle hopes that East Tucson Macaroni Kid can highlight kid-friendly events and activities in the Old Pueblo, making it a one-stop place for parents to plan their family-fun events each week. East Tucson Macaroni Kid is not just a list of activities though, it is a newsletter and blog featuring crafts, recipes, reviews, giveaways, articles for parents, and musings on life and parenthood...all from the perspective of a Tucson mom!
Enjoy the website and please subscribe to the FREE newsletter to get the latest issues of East Tucson Macaroni Kid in your inbox. (You don't even have to remember to check the website regularly...how's that for easy?) We're on facebook, too!

About Macaroni Kid
Macaroni Kid and its family of Publisher Moms are dedicated to delivering the scoop on all the family-friendly events and activities happening in their communities each week. Check out Macaroni Kid’s list of communities and sign up to receive your free weekly newsletter.
It all started with two old friends sharing a good meal and a great bottle of wine. From that conversation, Macaroni Kid was born and Joyce and Nicki started publishing a weekly newsletter giving moms and dads the scoop on all the weekly events in their community. From there it’s grown to dozens of other communities across the Country.
We hope you enjoy it.
